Hello. I visit Portland every now and then. I’m from Waltham, MA just outside Boston – and ride with the Charles River Wheelers. I’d like to come for a few days of riding with some pals ( we ride 11-13 mph). I’m looking for some help in putting together a particular ride.
What I’d like to do is ride from downtown – maybe from Becky’s (used to go there) after breakfast – up to Cousins Island, catch the ferry to Chebaque, ride down to catch the ferry to Great Diamond, ride there, and then catch a ferry back to Portland. Even tho that same ferry looks to stop at Little Diamond on the way back to Portland there likely isn’t enough time for jaunt there but I’m having a hard time sorting the ferry schedules.
I was looking through your ride list but didn’t see anything that did that. Wondering if anyone could give me some advice or pointers?
