Hey there,

I am a very new member…won’t be able to attend the Potluck, but am wishing to order a new club jersey (I guess in Medium, as my other Giordanas seem to fit ok in that size; I assume a tighter “Euro” fit?). How can I go about ordering, unless this reply is adequate to do so?

Hi Sarah, For rentals, I would try Cycle Mania in Portland. For rides, MaineDOT's Explore Maine by Bike is a great resource. You can also take a look at our rides page for some cue sheets, though I think ours are on the shorter mileage side. Andy

Hello Barbara,

My husband, Fred, and I live in Santa Barbara, Ca. Our daughter attends Tufts in Boston. We make and annual fall visit to New England to see her and to take a 4-5 day bike trek. We are planning to come to southern Maine this Oct.10-14. Do or anyone in the club you have recommendations for 30-50 mile mid-week rides (the elevation doesn’t matter) and/or a shop that we can rent road bikes and a car rack from?

I heard the Kanc was in bad shape. A disappointment – you do such a good job on your century. We’ve already rented a vacation home in North Conway for a week. While we will ride several shorter routes we’d like to do one century. Are the roads Bear, Pinkham & Evans notches passable?

Wow, what a fantastic ride today was. 48.3 miles, beautiful weather, nice boat ride and some good rollers from Lands End to Freeport, and the company was nice! Thanks Bill for organizing this!
