Casco Bay Bicycle Club York Beach Ride and BBQ
WHEN: 10am, Saturday August 21, 2010 (Rain date August 22, 2010)
WHERE: The Beach House, 40 Mitchell Road, York Beach, ME
WHAT: A mostly flat 38 mile ride along York Beach around the Nubble and lighthouse down to Kittery with a loop through old Portsmouth and back. Very scenic!
Ron and Chris will provide hot dogs, hamburgers (veggie burgers) and soft drinks. You provide salads, desert, BYOB (We can figure out who can bring a salad, potato salad, macaroni salad and some sort of desert later. Unless of course we want ice cream and in that case we can walk to a place along the beach.)

Thanks to Ron, Chris, and Chris’s father for hosting everyone. The day was a perfect biking day, the ride was ideal. Even though Mike D. took a detour route, he caught up and we all finished together.
This was one of those nice special rides which people have been asking for – Thanks to Chris and Ron-the-younger.
This was a great ride and I want to add my thanks too. Hopefully we can do it again next year!
